TECHNOLOGY AT CATCH 1:2 Chromebooks
Empowering students with seamless access to learning—at school and at home.
Technology & Device Access
At CATCH Prep High School, every student enrolled in our program receives access to two Chromebooks—one for use at school and one for use at home. This unique 1:2 device model ensures that students have consistent access to the digital tools and resources they need to learn, create, collaborate, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Students may also choose to bring their own Chromebook or compatible device if they prefer. This flexibility allows families to select the technology that best meets their needs while maintaining full access to instructional resources.
Each Chromebook remains assigned to the student throughout the academic year, encouraging responsibility, accountability, and proper device care. Expectations for technology use, maintenance, and digital citizenship are outlined in the school's Technology Policy.
Empowering 21st Century Learning
CATCH Prep's 1:2 device initiative has transformed teaching and learning by providing students with continuous access to technology wherever learning takes place. Rather than simply consuming information, students use technology to research, analyze, create, collaborate, and solve real-world problems.
Through daily access to digital tools, students develop critical skills that prepare them for college, careers, and life in an increasingly connected world. These skills include digital literacy, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving.
Personalized Learning for Every Student
Our technology program supports individualized, differentiated, and personalized instruction. With access to their own devices, students can learn at a pace that meets their needs, receive targeted support, and engage with content in ways that align with their learning styles.
By combining technology with rigorous academic instruction, CATCH Prep creates engaging learning experiences that help every student achieve their full potential—both on campus and beyond.
